Jovan Martinez STEPS to End Family Violence at Rising Ground, Early RAPP Supervisor Jovan aka Miss Jay (she/her) is the Senior Community Educator with Early RAPP. Born and Raised in the Bronx, Miss Jay strives to create spaces for youth centered voices to be heard. With her love and passion for writing and poetry Miss Jay strives to infuse creativity and activism.
John B. DeMicoli John (he/him) is a community educator serving Brooklyn middle schools. He is an artist and activist with a passion for issues related to gender, race, healthy masculinity, and freeing Puerto Rico! He is enthusiastic about creating student advocates, and hopes a few kids leave our program pumped to push for change!
Heidi Peña Heidi (she/her) is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Community Educator in Queens. She is a Brooklyn born, island raised Afro-Dominican facilitator who is dedicated to empowering youth through education, building social capital, and community healing. Additionally, she is a trainer with the Center for Racial Justice in Education, poet, daughter and sister, and community organizer.
Quinn Marchman Quinn (he/him) is an Uptown Community Educator. He has been a member of ERAPP for 3 years. With a background in Theatre Arts and Education, it has been a passion to create space for young people to explore their own stories. Through ERAPP he has learned so much about advocacy and the expansive eco-system of careworkers that serve this city and diverse communities.
Jules Duze Jules (they/them) is a Queens-based community educator for Manhattan. Since attending Brooklyn College, they have been exploring different avenues of social justice which has led them to organizing with Black Trans Liberation and participating in various Jews of Color centered Fellowship opportunities. They have a passion for expression, giving back to Mother Earth, and spending time joyfully with people they Love.
Lila Klatz Lila (they/them) is a Community Educator for Queens and Loisaida/LES. They are a lifelong New Yorker born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens. With an MFA in Performance and Performance Studies, they use their creative background to explore healthy relationships. Focusing on advocacy and love, Lila aims to empower youth by developing mindfulness and sustainability practices for individuals and social groups.
Kimberly Maldonado Kimberly (she/her) is a bilingual community educator for middle schools in the Bronx. She is passionate in creating and collaborating to bring a message through art. She believes art is a powerful tool of communication and self-expression. Kimberly is a libra, loves beauty, skincare, painting, and chocolate covered strawberries.
