What kind of workshops are offered?

Throughout our core series of workshops, we focus on relationship elements when we facilitate critical conversations with both youth and adults about:

Teen Relationship Abuse

Establishing the grounds for respect and trust before getting into what our ideas about relationships are. We collectively aim to come to an understanding of relationships and dating in order to discuss equality and freedom in relationships and how the use of our power and control can impact us and others.

Consent + Boundaries

Learning how to define communication and how establishing honest communication in our relationships can make space for our boundaries to be acknowledged and respected especially when asking for or giving consent.

Sexual Harassment + Flirting

Learning about the dynamics of kindness and affection and what part they play in our socialization and in our relationships. Once we establish how kindness and affection play a part in our society + in our lives, we can evaluate how kindness and affection can be manipulated, taken out of context and/or lacking consent when it comes to flirting and sexual harassment and how that impacts others.

Healthy Relationships

We spend time reviewing key concepts and tools from the first three workshops and use those tools to evaluate what healthy and unhealthy conflict looks like in our relationships. Working together via role play and scenarios, we further our understanding about relationship elements by practicing conflict resolution and advocating for our needs.

We also offer supplemental workshops* following the core series including:

Gender +  Sexuality
Homophobia + Transphobia
Power + Privilege
Puberty and All About The Body
Self Care + Mindfulness

Listening + Accountability
Tech Abuse & Online Safety
Sex Ed
& more!

*all of our workshops can be adapted to be done virtually!
